| TREAT TB Partners Meet to Gauge Progress and Plan Upcoming Research |

From 23-25 May 2010, TREAT TB partners convened for meetings in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to assess the progress of research activities and review plans for future work. Thirty-four participants from various partner organizations were engaged in the meetings, which were hosted by TREAT TB regional partner, Rede-TB, the Brazilian TB research network. The Partners Meeting was a excellent opportunity to review major research activities and plans, and it allowed for networking among the growing number of partners engaged under TREAT TB.
